Great machine shop. It was my first time rebuild a car engine. It was a 1999 Buick century 3.1 liter v6. I gave them my bare block. They cleaned it, honed it, decked it, decked the heads to due to it having a corrosion issue witch was common for this car because it used dexcool, and they put my new pistons on. It's got about 4k miles on in now and it's running amazingly again. I was probably a little annoying but they were kind and I appreciate there patience.

Customer beware — this is hands‑down the worst machine shop experience I’ve ever had. I dropped off my cylinder head four days ago and never received a single update. The only positive part of the entire visit was the first technician, who was respectful and helpful. After that, everything fell apart. When I stopped by to check on the work, I was told the owner didn’t want to touch the valve train. If they don’t have the knowledge, that’s fine — but the owner’s attitude is the real problem here. The owner refused to acknowledge me. No greeting. No explanation. No eye contact. He literally walked right past me like I wasn’t even standing there. That level of disrespect tells you everything you need to know about how this place operates. If this is how the owner treats customers, imagine how little care goes into the work. I have a lot of machine work ahead of me, but none of it will ever go to this shop. I strongly warn anyone considering this place: take your business somewhere that actually respects its customers.

It was my first time at a machine shop and I needed a 2zzge head resurfaced. I don't know if the hot tank was a normal service with what I requested, but they cleaned up the head really nicely, so I went back with the block and girdle to get those cleaned up. Thanks for the service!

Very good job on my cylinder heads. Had a few bent valves they got it taken care of. Cleaned the heads real nice as well look like they came from factory. I would recommend anyone to take their parts that they need work on. Good time in and out service and price didn’t break my wallet. Very helpful and treat you like a person not like you don’t know anything. I can’t thank them enough.

Outstanding customer service and quality machine work. J&K built a customized engine for me, to my specs, that is everything I had hoped it would be. This is because Josh took my specs and added things like shortening the valve guides and changing valve springs to ensure it would work correctly - things I had not mentioned. Highly recommended - and I am admittedly very hard to please.
